In Pakistan, a petrol tanker exploded, killing more than 150 people

The accident occurred about 100 kilometers south-west of Multan. As a result of the incident, more than 150 people were burned alive.

According to the AP, the gasoline truck was driving from the southern port city of Karachi to Lahore, Punjab province, when the driver lost control and his car capsized. At the same time, at a time when a huge number of people came to the scene to collect fuel from a tank truck, there was an explosion.

As a result, 153 people were killed on the spot, dozens more were burned. According to the rescue services, at least 90 people with burns were taken to hospitals, among them adults and children.



Full information on the dead is not yet possible, since many people are still in critical condition. Police believe that the cause of the fire could be a spark from a lot of cars and motorcycles that rushed to the scene of the traffic accident, fueled the fuel.
