As a result of the accident, 12 people were injured. As the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies, the accident occurred after seven o'clock in the morning on the road Belovodsk - Stanitsa Luganskaya Lugansk region near the village of Nizhnyaya Olkhovaya.

Here the shuttle bus Mersedes-Benz "Sprinter" for unknown reasons left the track and rolled over. In this case, among the injured, two children were 14 and 2.9 years old. Rescuers, who arrived at the scene of the accident, helped to free themselves to the passengers of the fixed-route taxi and gave them to the medical workers.

However, the police reported that the driver, most likely, fell asleep at the wheel. According to the police spokesman of Lugansk region Tatiana Pogukay, behind the wheel of the passenger bus was a 31-year-old resident of the Kharkov region. The bus followed from Kharkov to Luganskaya Stanitsa. According to preliminary information, the driver fell asleep at the wheel, drove off the road and allowed the car to roll over.

At the time of the traffic accident, there were 18 people in the car.

Five of them refused to provide medical assistance and left the place of the accident before the arrival of the ambulance and police.

The police opened a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Violation of road safety rules".
