On the eve of the night in the Kamyshlovsky district there was a fatal accident. VAZ-21100 under the control of a young man born in 1998 brought down a pedestrian on an unlit track. The victim of 1995 year of birth, who walked along the edge of the roadway, died on the spot. As reported by the Department of Propaganda of the UGIBDD in the Sverdlovsk Region, there were no retro-reflective elements on the pedestrian's clothing.

Recently, it is on suburban roads that road accidents often occur involving pedestrians moving along the roadway or along the roadside, the traffic police reports.. And it is because of the lack of retroreflective elements that pedestrians become invisible in the dark, and the high-speed mode of suburban roads does not leave the opportunity for drivers to react to a pedestrian unexpectedly emerging from the dark.

So, since the beginning of this year, with the participation of pedestrians, 295 road accidents have already been recorded, in which 48 people were killed and 263 injured of varying severity. Every seventh road accident happened just outside the settlements. In these road accidents killed 20 people and 24 more injured.

State traffic police of the Sverdlovsk region encourages pedestrians to be extremely cautious when driving on suburban roads: it is necessary to comply with SDA, moving along the roadside to meet transport, have on the clothing retroreflective elements.

Employees of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate call on drivers driving on roads, if pedestrians find pedestrians to slow down as much as possible, and if pedestrian behavior on the roadway does not seem to correspond to the situation - the pedestrian may be in a state of intoxication, which puts his life at risk, immediately call "102" or "112" and to report the location of the pedestrian.
