Sverdlovsk police uncovered the brutal murder of a resident of Severouralsk, committed because of a debt of 2 thousand rubles.
The crime was committed on May 25. The corpse of a 31-year-old woman was found by her mother in an apartment in the School Lane of the Third Northern Village. Examination found that the woman was strangled. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
In the course of work on the disclosure of this crime the detectives established the circle of communication of the deceased and reached the track of the suspect. He was previously repeatedly convicted for the theft and causing bodily harm resident of Volchansk in 1984 of birth.
The police detained him at his place of residence. The man confessed his guilt and explained that the victim, whom he had met at common friends, owed him 2000 rubles. It was for the return of the debt that he came to Severouralsk.
However, the woman, he said, did not want to give money and began to insult the creditor. After this, the citizen allegedly could not restrain himself and strangled his debtor.
Currently, police and investigative officers conduct a set of activities aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident and exposing the guilty person, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sverdlovsk region. A man faces up to 15 years in prison.
