The Severouralsk City Court passed a verdict in the criminal case of a local resident who in the spring stole a large sum of money from a foreign car. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region.

The incident happened on one of the March nights.

A drunken intruder broke a glass of a Nissan Wingroad car with a stick and stole 16,300 rubles from the car's interior.

The malefactor was quickly detained - they were a 26-year-old convicted resident of the city. The citizen gave his turnout, in which he personally indicated the circumstances of the crime committed by him. Also he is a figurant of another case of theft in Nizhny Tagil.

The court found this citizen guilty of committing a crime and sentenced him to two years of imprisonment with serving his sentence in a strict-regime correctional colony.
