An employee of the OSCE International Monitoring Mission was sexually harassed by an armed man in a territory controlled by separatists in eastern Ukraine.

The man armed with the automatic machine threatened the OSCE officer at the same time that he would not miss the representatives of the organization in the eastern direction from Petrovsky to Razdolnoye (Lugansk region) "until his demands are satisfied". As a result, the patrol had to go on another road, the agency said, the OSCE.

Earlier, the OSCE observation mission restricted patrolling in the Donbas until the conflicting parties began to adhere to their obligations to mine, mark and protect mines and unexploded ordnance. At the same time, the mission reduced the geography of patrolling, and also stopped the flights of unmanned aircraft.

At the end of April, as a result of the bombing of an OSCE mission patrol vehicle on a mine in Lugansk region, one US citizen was killed and two more observers were injured - from Germany and the Czech Republic.
