In the 4th Republican Clinical Hospital of Mordovia, glass fragments were found in ampoules with a solution of sodium benzoate caffeine for subcutaneous administration. We found solutions for injections and droppers with glass fragments and other mechanical particles, the source in Roszdravnadzor. "We sent information letters to the regions so that they would seize all suspicious consignments of these series and destroy the".

Meanwhile, representatives of the Belarusian medical industry say that these cases are rare, the "human factor".

"These errors exist, but we only have 0.1% of the rejected drugs. And if we find something, then we conduct an investigation and report to Roszdravnadzor, "- said Tatyana Baturo, deputy director for quality of the Borisov plant. According to her, the glass in the caffeine could theoretically fall if, during the spill of the solution, some ampoule broke up. The broken ampoule, of course, was immediately removed, but the fragments that flew aside could not be noticed.

"We found out that this could be a single case of poor quality culling by a specific employee," Baturo said of the internal investigation conducted, adding that after the incident the company conducted additional training for employees and checked the equipment. Meanwhile, for the quality of the ampoules themselves there is no liability, since they are bought in Russia and in Ukraine.

Roszdravnadzor has already withdrawn the defective consignments of drugs, checks are being conducted in other medical institutions.
