In Revda from the window of the procedural room of the local hospital the patient fell out. 54-year-old woman died on the spot. The Prosecutor's Office is conducting a verification of this fact.

According to preliminary data, today, on May 4, 2017, a 54-year-old woman fell out of the window of the procedural room on the 5th floor of the building of the Sverdlovsk Region's Sverdlovsk Oblast "Revdinskaya City Hospital" at night. As a result of the injuries she died on the spot. The victim was in the State Regional Hospital "Revda City Hospital" on inpatient treatment.

In the course of supervisory activities, the prosecutor's office will check the implementation of federal legislation on the basics of protecting public health in the activities of the State Regional Hospital "Revda City Hospital".

In particular, a legal assessment will be made of the fact of free movement of the patient at night through the specialized rooms of the hospital (procedural room), as well as the timeliness and effectiveness of medical care both when entering hospital treatment and after falling out of the window.

Based on the results of the audit, if there are grounds, measures will be taken by the prosecutor's response.
