Chervonozavodsky district court issued a guilty verdict to a serviceman who shot a man in the supermarket "ATB" on Prospekt Gagarin. The document was published in the Single Register of Judgments, NR notes.

Recall, July 30, 2015 in the Kharkov supermarket several men came running, between which there was a conflict on the street. The 30-year-old attacker, as it turned out later, was a soldier at / h A2308, snatched a pistol and fired at one of his pursuers. The victim was injured with penetrating damage to the liver, stomach, pancreas head and two vertebrae. From the injuries the man died on the way to the hospital.

During the trial, the soldier confessed his guilt and said that before the incident a group of 10 people provoked him and Lieutenant Kuchmiy, after which a fight broke out between them. He saw a gun on the ground, picked it up and ran into "ATB" to call for security. In the man he shot because he believed that he was trying to get around him from behind and attack.

The court found the fighter guilty of "murder by imprudence" (art.

. 118) and "illegal handling of weapons" (art.. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), after which he sentenced the ex-serviceman to three years in prison. It should be noted that according to the "Savchenko law" he has already left most of the punishment. In addition, a native of Zaporozhye should compensate for the costs of examination in the amount of 50 thousand hryvnia.

The verdict has not yet entered into force, there is a period of appellate appeal.
