The organizer of the explosion in St. Petersburg metro station was detained

The Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation reported on Monday about the detention of one of the organizers of the terrorist act in the subway in St. Petersburg in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow Region. He was a native of Central Asia Abror Azimov, born in 1990. As RIA Novosti writes, the alleged organizer of the terrorist act was brought for investigative actions to the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation.

The FSB report says that Azimov Abror Akhralovich trained a suicide bomber A. Jalilova. Recall that previously the investigative authorities did not exclude that the perpetrator of the terrorist attack, a native of Kyrgyzstan Jalilov, born in 1995, was not a suicide bomber and his terrorists used him blindly. According to the investigation, Jalilov left a disguised bomb at the station "Ploshchad Vosstaniya", and then blew himself up in the train car.



Explosion in the St. Petersburg metro took place on the afternoon of April 3 on a stretch between the stations "Sennaya Ploshchad" and "Technological Institute-2". The second explosion, at the station "Ploshchad Vosstaniya", the operatives managed to prevent due to the timely detection of an improvised explosive device. According to the latest information, the total number of victims of the terrorist attack is 15, including the suicide bomber Akbarzhon Jalilov.
