According to media reports, in Mexico an earthquake occurred again - the second within 24 hours. Underground tremors occurred at 13:06 Kiev time, south of the city of Paredon.

Epicenter was located 51 kilometers south of the city of Paredon in the state of Chiapas, the source of the earthquake lay at a depth of 60 kilometers.

As previously reported, the first earthquake was two weeks earlier and it was called the most powerful in the last 100 years, its strength exceeded 8 points.

The second earthquake - a force of 7.1 points - occurred in Mexico last Tuesday, September 19. The number of victims of this earthquake in Mexico reached 307 people: 169 in Mexico City, 73 in Morelos, 45 in Puebla, 13 in Mexico City, 6 in Guerrero, 1 in Oaxaca.

Today's earthquake, although weaker than the previous two - its strength was 5.7 points, the devastating consequences for infrastructure can be no less significant. This was reported by the newspaper "Today".
