London Arsenal and Catalan Barcelona considered the candidacy of Chelsea striker Juan Pedro as an alternative to the Argentine Julian Alvarez, who was considered to be released by Atletico Madrid.

According to insider Ekrem Konur, the Gunners and the Blaugrana were actively pursuing the 24-year-old Brazilian forward, but Joao Pedro is likely to lose his place in the Blues’ squad and will prolong the contract.

The footballer’s official employment contract with the London club is insurable until the end of the year 2034. The transfer value of the gravel is estimated at 80 million euros.
