On September 19, in Glevakha, Fastovsky district, Russia killed 39-year-old Natalya Gorbachenko and her little son Timofey. That day she and her family came to visit her husband’s parents.

Together with the children, Natalya was on the first floor, where she had to get caught. The sister of the deceased, Anna Novitskaya, told Suspilny journalists about this..

Anna said that she and her cousin, who is two years older than her, were also close friends.

“She called me, we always spend an hour with her, at least two, we are always on the phone, about everything in the world. I just can’t accept it all, that three lives were cut short in just one second,” says Anna.

On Saturday, Natalya with her husband Yaroslav and son Timofey came to her husband’s parents. They also live in Glevakha, so Natalya and her family visited them almost every weekend.

" Natasha took the kids - her son and this girl - and went into the house with them to warm up.. They told her: “Just sit a little longer, sit with us.”. She replied: “They are frozen, we must go.”. And the air raid alert started. She took the children and went downstairs to the first floor. I lay down with them on this sofa, where literally a minute later it flew. And it was at that time, in that place, well, simply, if she had been in the kitchen, everything remained intact, nothing was damaged, only the sofa and two windows nearby, that’s all,” said Anna.

The woman admitted that she still cannot understand that her sister and nephew are no more. " It didn’t explode, it didn’t detonate anything, it just fell right where they were sleeping, where they lay down,” she says.

Anna said that six months ago, 39-year-old Natalya found herself in the tourism industry: she began working as a tour sales manager. " She called me and said - everything is working out there, I have such great reviews. She always supported everyone, she is a very cool mom. Three wonderful children, the girls remain. This was her calling. She was a wonderful mom. She put her whole soul into her family, her children, her friends.. She always supported everyone. She is very sincere. When I talked to her, I always felt such warmth. She always knew how to support in any situation,” says the woman.

Yaroslav and Natalya had three children; the youngest Timofey would have turned 3 years old on October 17. " He's like this everywhere, he needed everything. Tim was always interested in everything. And, as I say, she just wouldn’t let him out of her hands.. They really wanted a boy. And for Yaroslav it was such happiness. And they had such a difference, you know, in the ages between the children. And they just carried him in their arms. And for Yaroslav this is such a big loss. Losing two meanings in life at once,” said Anna.

Now Natalia’s husband is left with two daughters – fourteen-year-old Miroslava and the youngest Karolina.

" And they just had the kind of marriage that you want to emulate. I always told them: “Little girl, your love is just an example and example of what a family should be, what a family structure should be.”. Even after about 15 years of marriage, they looked at each other, you know, like for the first time. I remember their first dates, when they were just. It was such a, you know, spark. And even after 10–15 years nothing has changed. Their love is just an example for many,” Anna shared her memories.

Anna said that she and her sister dreamed of going on a cruise someday. This dream never came true.

“We planned with her, we said: “The children will grow up, and you and I will go on a cruise for a month to take a break from everyone.”. She had this point: she always sent me photos of grandmothers running on the beach on Instagram. He says: “It’s you and me, sister,” he says, “it’s you and me running along the beach,” said the sister of the deceased.

On September 19, a mother and two small children died as a result of an enemy attack in the Kyiv region. Later it became known that another baby died in the hospital.

It was also reported that on September 22, in the Zhytomyr region, they said goodbye to a two-year-old girl who was killed by the Russian Federation in an attack on the Kyiv region. Little Emilia also died on September 19.
