Loss of work due to war: Ukrainians can apply for compensation

Ukrainians who lost their jobs and source of income due to the war can now submit an application to the International Register of Losses Caused by Russian Aggression against Ukraine. This can be done through the Diya portal, reports the Zaporozhye Regional Military Administration.

A new category A3 has been opened in the register. 4 - " It concerns individuals who worked for hire or were self-employed, but due to Russia’s armed aggression they were left without work and income.

“Individuals can apply in this category,” the Zaporozhye regional military administration said.

The new category makes it possible to record claims for compensation of income that a person was unable to receive due to loss of work due to war.

Separately, the register already provides for category A3. 5 - " It can be used by private entrepreneurs who have lost profits due to Russian aggression.

All applications from individuals and legal entities, as well as authorities, are submitted through Diya. Currently, 30 categories of statements are available in the register, in which it is possible to record losses caused by the war.
