Chelsea have no plans to let Jamie Gittens go on loan until the end of the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, the London club is considering this option, despite serious interest on the side of Romy.

Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso is looking for the 22-year-old Englishman as part of the first team. Gittens has already finished playing time for the new season, coming on as a substitute in the English League Cup match against Luton.

The winger joined Chelsea last summer after a ?51.5 million move from Borussia Dortmund. London's debut season turned out to be difficult due to injuries, which essentially limited a number of matches and the ability to show itself.

However, Alonso does not want to lose Gittens and sees him as an important option for the team’s attacking line in the current campaign.
