Chelsea manager Malo Gusteau shared his enemies with tactical schemes, as the new head coach of the London club Xabi Alonso believes. The Frenchman spoke about the peculiarities of playing in the wingback position and admitted that there may already be evidence of performances in such a role.

" That’s why I know it and can clearly see my satisfaction with it. It requires a lot of energy - to work a lot of moves in advance and be ready to protect yourself.

“You are tempted to play your best on both sides of the field, and this is an incredibly good system, but, of course, the team must be ready for anything,” said Gusteau.

The Transfermarkt portal estimates Gusteau's market value at 35 million euros. In the 2025/26 season, the Premier League side took part in 34 matches (26 of which were in the starting lineup), recording two goals scored and three assists. The Frenchman steals the colors of the London club in 2023.
