Aston Villa have completed the transfer of Nicholas Jackson from Chelsea. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, all documents for the transfer have already been completed, and the striker has successfully passed a medical examination and signed a contract with the Birmingham club.
The total amount should be 65 million pounds. Thus, Chelsea receives a significant profit from the sale of the 25-year Senegalese, which the Londoners bought from Villarreal in 2023 for 32 million pounds.
Jackson returns to Aston Valley from Unai Emery, having already played for Villarreal. The Birmingham coach himself has long wanted to work with the forward again.
The Chelsea striker made 81 appearances in all tournaments and scored 30 goals. He spent last season on loan for Bayern.
Jackson will become a replacement for Ollie Watkins, who may soon move from Aston Valley to Saudi Al-Hilal.
