Mikhailo Mudryk shared his emotions after returning to training from Chelsea. The Ukrainian missed almost 20 months through a doping scandal, but this summer he lost the opportunity to work with the team again on the field of a friendly match against Juventus in Hong Kong.

Now the 25-year-old footballer, together with his partners in Chelsea, is preparing at the Cobham base before the new season. Mudryk realized that turning back to the football life became a special moment for him.

" It’s been an hour, but it’s been a very happy moment for me to fall back on that same training field.. . I am grateful for the opportunity to be back on the field. It would be great to welcome everyone again. I was warmly received.

I have already realized the wealth of this process - training, and especially matches, I will help the constant ones achieve more,” the Chelsea press service quotes Mikhail Mudryk as saying..

Ukrainians also spoke about the brutal regime that was being maintained during a painful pause. According to Mudryk, he actually managed the non-stop pre-season period for himself in order to get into the best possible physical shape.

" I trained, I trained a lot. I didn’t give up and just tried to work as hard as I could. . Everything was just the same, only with two training sessions today.

My intention was to turn around and show myself to the football world again. This is my mission, and I know what I need to work for. Without much effort you can achieve something,” said Mikhailo.

Guess what, Mudryk will rise up and enter the field for Chelsea at November 2024. After a difficult break, the Ukrainian took off his playing days in the match with Juventus, becoming a substitute in the 82nd season. He also played a lot of games in friendly matches against Milan and Johor.
