The new defender of the Carpathians, Ivan Kalero, shared his first enemies after moving to the Lviv club. The Spaniard learned that the decision to sign the contract was praised even immediately after the divorce with head coach Fran Fernandez.
Behind the words of the 31-year-old football player, a number of days of negotiations have been accumulated to understand: the club is honest with its candidacy and trusts its capabilities.
A special moment for Calero was the first night in Lvov. Just before signing the contract, the city became aware of the Russian shelling, but it did not change its decision to reach the Carpathians.
" I know that it’s already too bad to live in very complicated minds. If you marvel at something from afar, you’ll be devoid of anything new. Ale, having stumbled here, you begin to understand reality better.
I want most of all to hope that the war will end as soon as possible, and people will be able to return to a peaceful life. I deeply admire the strength, courage and resilience of the Ukrainians and hope that soon everyone will be able to live in peace and have their future."
Calero also noted that he has already begun to train with the team during pre-season training and feels ready before the official matches.
" In the hour that he has been working in the Carpathians, he has already shown that he will have a clear command. I came here to help the coach, partners and the club with a goal,” the footballer concluded.
Guess what, the Lviv club teamed up with a Spanish flanker and signed a 2+1 contract.
