Scottish Celtic are working on continuing their relationship with striker Kelechi Iheanacho and have already given the footballer an official proposal for a new contract, reports the Glasgow Times.

The team's head coach Martin O'Neill is talking about the club's intention to save the 29-year-old forward of the Rospov.

Iheanacho is a member of Manchester City, for which he began his professional career. Over the years he played for Leicester, Seville and Middlesbrough, and now he has won the Celtic colors.

In the 2025/26 season, the Nigerian played 24 matches in all tournaments, scoring nine goals and providing one assist.
