Polish Lechia officially announced the recognition of a new head coach. Ukrainian fakhivets Vladislav Lupashko became him.

The 39-year coach of the team from Gdansk has a long-term contract that runs until 30 June 2029. In the near future, the Ukrainians will prefer a robot with a team, as in the new season we will compete in another division of Poland.

Lechia noted that Lupashko is considered one of the most promising young coaches in Similar Europe. The club has indicated its current approach to football, to develop players and there will be teams that demonstrate an attacking style of play.

Lupashko started his coaching career in Ingultsi, initially working as an assistant, and later leading the team. In his first season, as head coach, he led the club to victory in the First League of Ukraine and entry into the UPL, for which he was recognized as the longest coach of the First League for the 2023/24 season.

The next stage in the career of the Ukrainian specialist was the Carpathians. After returning from the Lviv club to the elite division, Lupashko helped the team finish in the sixth place.

A new mentor faces a difficult task. Lechia is going through a difficult period due to financial problems and transfer deals, but the club believes that Lupaszko himself can lay the foundation for the team's return to the Polish Ekstraklasa.
