talkSPORT journalist Ben Jacobs reported that the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has not yet set a hearing date for the appeal of Chelsea winger Mikhail Mudrik.

As expected, the Football Association of England (FA) previously praised the decision to impose a 4-day disqualification of the Ukrainian football player after a positive doping test for meldonium. This maximum punishment was disapproved by the side of the grave in CAS.

According to Jacobs, the process is still at the preparatory stage: the parties may choose to consider the format of the hearing - a single arbitrator or a panel of three arbitrators. They also submit letters of explanation, after which CAS can recognize the date of the hearing.
