In Ukraine, somehow there has already been a tradition of reducing the activities of the OUN (all branches) and the UPA to heroic resistance to foreign totalitarian forces, while simultaneously focusing on the seeming hopelessness of this resistance, which, however, gave the desired results, but only in the distant historical perspective.
The following is the text in the original language. And at the same time, we forget the real and large-scale victories of the UPA and OUN in the other half of the 1940s - the first half of the 1950s. Moreover, it’s not so much war as it is military-political and simply political.
Well, let’s go wild to this historical layer.
Without the influx of OUN and UPA officials, Stalin was unlikely to have weakened control over cultural life in the Ukrainian Socialist Republic in 1943-46, allowing “heart-and-heart nationalism” under the name of “Ukrainian patriotic patriotism”, which gave great results. He forged the formula “great Ukrainian people”... And then organized a famine and sent Kaganovich to “restore order”. That one quickly destroyed everything that was lost, and was shouting to Moscow.
At the hour of the first “Berlin Crisis” (the land blockade of the outgoing sector of Berlin by Soviet troops in 1948-49 rocked the United States, Great Britain and France, and not less. Let us not forget the significant potential ability of the UPA, together with the nominally disbanded, but actually active Home Army and the Lithuanian Freedom Army, to cut the routes of receipt between the USSR. And the Stalinist standstill was serious: the atomic bomb was created on the basis of technological solutions stolen by spy guns, jet engines (with German and English engines) and “converted” from the American “superforte” B-29. However, it didn’t work out for Europe - and Stalin reoriented to Asia, helping Mao Zedong overcome Chiang Kai-shek and pushing Kim Ir Sung to the Pride of Korea... 1953, in two and a half months.
In addition, having recognized the abnormal visa of the rural population: “To learn, as necessary, through the further appreciation of collective farms, the development of their communal dominion and the advancement of the material goodness of the collective village. The main culprit of all this is not Stalin, but his creature – the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, the avowed Ukrainophobe and anti-Semite Melnikov. During the current period at the plenum of the Central Committee (at any request - a failure to feel! - " Lvov, western regions of Ukraine and m. Kiev" Similar transformations took place in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and often in Western Belarus. For the river, the weakening of the grip on the collective state was extended throughout the USSR.
Let's find out: in order for mothers to have free labor force, the Soviet empire would become a stupid GULAG. From the beginning of the 1920s until the mid-1940s, political connections and exiles in the USSR were the helpless victims of criminal prisoners, encouraged by the tabernacle authorities. And therefore, the Ukrainian ties with the UPA and OUN became the main force of support in the GULAG camps. Solzhenitsyn, who is not particularly fond of Ukraine, writes about how the tabernacle of life has radically changed, since “seasoned, broad-shouldered lads” have been punished for a prickly hair.. These lads were brought in, the stench was observed for a long time - and, as Solzhenitsyn later wrote, “the bacillus of rebellion was brought to us by Bandera’s men.”. The young boys, as if they had a little battle evidence, marveled at the recklessness that had gone down, and took up their knives to restore order. Scared criminals actually fell in line with the “political”. But the tavern management couldn’t earn money - she was afraid for her life. The fear of " “Politicians” took the initiative into their own hands and became rulers of the tabernacle zones. And then a low-profile uprising began (the largest among them was Kengirske, where more than 700 Ukrainians died), which made the communist authorities urgently establish much more. The minimization of the GULA and the complete transformation of the entire political and economic life of the USSR became a fact..
To what extent more could have been added, but it’s a headache, I think it’s clearer: to ignore the trace of the sacrifice of the freedom fighters, and also to replace them.
