Real Madrid officially announced the resignation of head coach Jose Mourinho. The recent decision was praised by the four, 11th, at a meeting for the directors of the club headed by Florentino Perez. The Portuguese captain signed a contract for the next three seasons - until 30 June 2029.
In order to arrange this comeback, the Madrid team had to activate the clause on the pre-string buyout of the coach (clausula) from Lisbon's Benfica, which amounted to 15 million euros.
