Everton on their official website voted to extend the contract with Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko.
The new agreement with the 27-river Ukrainian is insured until the summer of 2029.
Apparently, Vitaliy has been playing for the Toffees since 2022, having moved from Dynamo Kiev - 158 matches so far, with both goals and assists.
" I remember firstly how I rejected Seamus Coleman when I signed a contract in 2022. I remember how I read it and thanked you for the warm welcome. He immediately filled me with the feeling that here I am in my true homeland.
The first few rocks that were here had little difficulty, but our team, like our family, gave all their strength to overcome them. Infections have become stronger and are getting shorter with the season. For the least important thing - to feel comfortable in this situation, and here at least, that’s why I’m very happy.
Now that coach David Moes has arrived, I think we're going forward.. She’s a really good person, which is important to me, and as a coach, she gave me freedom to play on the field.. For me, it’s a good journey, and at the same time we are collapsing in the right direction, so that we can rise more and more in the tournament table. We want to finish the coming season more richly.
I need to have realistic plans... for example, to win a trophy or perhaps the European Cup, as other teams have done in the rest of the world. And if we talk about an individual result, then just play every match and be as stable as Jimmy Garner this season. This is a great butt for me, because it is clear and stable. This is what I deserve, and I also want to achieve this,” said Mykolenko.
Last season Mykolenko played 36 matches, including one assist.
For season tips Everton seeded 13th place in the Premier League standings.
Previously it was reported that Everton wanted to sign the world's greatest player in the 2025/26 Championship.
