Zreshta, the election commission, during the period of compilation of the results, recorded 21,741 votes (65%) for the candidacy of Perez and 11,814 votes (35%) for Riquelme.

In this way, Florentino will continue his tenure at the Madrid club and will form a board of directors, apparently until his election bid.

It is significant that the first cadence of Perez on the side of Real Madrid lasted from 17 June 2000 to 2006 with re-elections in 2004, and the third began on 1 June 2009 with re-elections in 2013, 2017, 2021 and 2025.
