The German club is trying to win over one of its leaders and give the player a new contract with a specified amount of money.
In the 2025/26 season, Diomande played 33 matches in the Bundeslisa, scoring 12 goals and becoming Leipzig's other top scorer.
It is also reported that Liverpool are also considering the transfer of PSG winger Bradley Barcol, who has already been added to the shortlist of potential reinforcements.
