English Bromley achieved historic promotion to the First League, guaranteeing their place in the third-highest division of the country two rounds before the end of the season.

The club, which was founded in 1892, only reached the English Football League system in 2024, having spent 132 years. However, the team did not dwell on what had been achieved: already in their second season in the professional competition, the “Crows” earned another milestone.

The rest of the formalization of the move was delayed. This year Bromley recognized defeats against MK Dons and played a game against Cambridge, but a different result became the highest. On Saturday, Notts County surrendered to Barnet, wasting their chances of catching the leader of the Other League.

Thus, Bromley guaranteed its place in the zone of direct movement. Two rounds before the finish the team is ahead of fourth place Salford by this point.

Before the end of the season, the “Crows” still have to play matches against Salford and Walsall, but the big challenge has already been solved - the club has rewritten history, having made a rapid breakthrough from its debut in the EFL to entering the Premier League in just two years.
