Chelsea praised the decision of upcoming head coach Liam Rosenior, given the difficult situation in the fight to reach the Champions League.

As reported by The Athletic, the club does not plan to hire a manager once again, as the team cannot finish the season in the top 5 of the Premier League. The club will continue to honor Rosenior with part of the long-term project.

The coach has been with Chelsea for only three months, but the results of the remaining period are alarming - the team won only one of the remaining six matches in all tournaments. Nowadays the club is calling out the need for stability, and not crappy personnel changes.

At the moment, the Blues are in fifth place on four points, and also have a minimal margin over the teams in the middle of the table, which saves the risk of losing European Cup positions.

However, Rosenior is already taking part in the planned summer transfer campaign, which confirms the trust of Kerivnitsa in the coach and his project in the long-term perspective.

An additional warning for the Londoners is that they are no longer fighting for trophies: the team will continue to compete in the FA Cup, where they can compete for their first title in 2018.
