Actor Vyacheslav Dovzhenko explained why his fiancee Svetlana, who is 20 years younger, refused to talk to the press after the news of their engagement. According to the actor, the reason was the not very successful experience of the first interview, after which she decided to distance herself from publicity.

As the actor explained, his fiancee’s first experience with the media turned out to be uncomfortable for her..

“It so happened that the journalists simply took advantage of their professional activities and lured her into an interview, and she gave it. But we won’t give any more interviews, because we want to keep personal relationships more private. This was the first experience and so far she has no desire to give interviews again,” Dovzhenko said.

He emphasized that now it is important for both of them to maintain a private life outside of public space: “Happiness loves silence, as you know. Therefore, there is no need to shout about it loudly and talk to everyone about it."

Despite his reluctance to reveal details of his personal life, Dovzhenko confirmed that the wedding with Svetlana will take place. At the same time, the couple does not plan to make a public event out of this.

" This will definitely not be a show business project. Therefore, we want to do this modestly, as a family, and here in our homeland. Without much fuss,"

" I don’t want this publicity anymore,” she said. At the same time, Svetlana denied the assumption that she closed her Instagram page precisely because of increased attention, clarifying that she changed her privacy settings even earlier.

Dovzhenko also emotionally spoke about his interest in their relationship, noting the right to privacy: “And she did the right thing. Because you can't live on a collective farm! You understand: when a relationship arises, it is a very private, very closed territory.. And we have a good Ukrainian tradition - building fences. Not because we are greedy or closed, but to be able to live in our own small, separate family circle. Because you can't live on a collective farm! This is a Soviet habit, and frankly speaking, it is very harmful."
