Poltava Vorskla on its official website announced the appointment of a new sports director to the club, which became Volodymyr Chesnakov.

Please don’t give away the details – previously the 38-year-old Ukrainian spoke with the coaching staff of the Poltava team.

Guess what, Chesnakov finished his career in 2024. As of this year, over 400 matches for Vorskla, which is a record in the history of the club.

Previously, Vorskla faced financial problems, after which it changed its leadership of the club, recognizing a new general director.

After 22 rounds, Vorskla scored 24 points and took 11th place at the First League of Ukraine.
