The incident involving Atletico bus being bombed before a Champions League match could result in a fine for the club from UEFA.

The Spanish club can end the financial squeeze after fans threw objects at their opponent's bus before the first match of the Champions League quarter-finals.

Barcelona lost to Atletico Madrid 0:2 in the first match of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals at Camp Nou. UEFA's respect is now focused not only on the result, but on the incidents that occurred even before the starting whistle. A number of fans threw objects at the Atletico bus as it arrived at the stadium. Fortunately, no one from the delegation was injured, but two bus accidents caused damage.
