The famous Ukrainian ex-biathlete Elena Pidhrushna, even after retiring from her career, continues to set impressive achievements. The 39-year-old athlete was included in the Book of Records of Ukraine in connection with her creative activities..

On March 28, as part of the farewell event, she set a historical national record for the number of embroidered paintings created by an Olympic champion - 27 pieces. " This is a way to recover, find inspiration and put a piece of your soul into every work,” Pidhrushnaya wrote on Instagram.

She also thanked the Book of Records of Ukraine and the Spilna Peremoga team for their support and assistance in organizing the recording of the achievement.

According to the athlete, this result was part of a personal event dedicated to the end of her professional career.

The solemn ceremony for ending the career of one of the most titled Ukrainian biathletes took place on March 28 in Bukovel. Elena took a victory lap and officially said goodbye to professional sports.

Let us recall that the main triumph of Pidhrushna’s career was the victory in the women’s relay at the Olympics in Sochi, where she brilliantly performed the final stage.
