The winner of the National selection 2026 LELEKA (real name is Victoria Leleka) shared that to create a decent entry for Eurovision it is necessary to spend a fairly large amount of money, so she and her team will be looking for sponsors in the near future. The artist sincerely hopes that people will want to finance her performance on the international stage, because otherwise she will have to “go into” debt.
According to the performer, even now all members of her team work on a “volunteer basis”, since there is no money to pay them salaries. The singer spoke about this in a commentary for the project “Naodintsi with Glamor”.
" We form a budget, collect all ideas. All people are now working on a volunteer basis and hope that their work will be paid. We plan to start looking for sponsors and some kind of involvement in the near future. The sums are huge, everything at Eurovision costs a lot. I couldn’t imagine that it would be such amounts and that I had to find them myself,” the singer shared.
As LELEKA admitted, this situation adds a certain risk to her preparations for entering the main stage of Europe, because without sponsors she may find herself in a difficult situation: “Then we will be like some of the finalists of past years who never found these funds, so they are still paying off their debts. I really hope we don't have this. Now we are not talking about some kind of creative realization of mine. We want to represent Ukraine as dignified and beautifully as possible."
According to the artist, now she and her team are forming a detailed budget necessary to create a high-quality production. After completing this stage they will submit requests for funding.
Let us remind you that LELEKA won the national selection 2026, receiving the highest scores from both the professional jury and the audience, that is, ten. She will take the Eurovision stage, which will be held in Vienna this year, with the song Ridnym.
