Bayer Leverkusen has activated the option to buy Kerim Alaibegovich, who will return to the German club in 2026. The transfer amounted to 8 million euros.

The 18-year-old left winger just last summer moved from Leverkusen to Red Bull Salzburg for approximately 2-2.5 million euros, having signed a long-term contract until 2029. However, now the German club has decided to turn the tables.

As soon as the future turns around, the future of the footballer’s career has not yet been determined. It appears that a number of top clubs from Italy are already showing interest.
