He opened three establishments in Khmelnitsky called “Here ZBS”, but during the COVID-19 pandemic it became much more difficult to do business.

" Despite the fact that it was hard to work and despite the fact that I could barely pull myself. But then the business closed,” his friends said.

On February 24, 2022, the man voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “His motivation was unanimous and unequivocal: “I must defend my country because I am a man,” friend Andrei recalled the words of the fallen defender.

At first, Evgeniy served in a missile brigade in Khmelnitsky, and then underwent training in Germany, where he mastered the HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, after which he went to the front line.

According to his relatives, most of all the Hero dreamed of the victory of Ukraine, returning to his family and restoring his life’s work - his beloved business.

The deceased defender is survived by his wife and two daughters. Let us remind you that 27-year-old defender from the Lviv region Ivan Alekseev died in the Kherson region. He fought his last fight in the Kherson region at the end of February.
