KЇ PLATFORMA was launched in Ukraine - a public organization to popularize Ukrainian theater. The goal is to reveal the potential of theater as a tool of social transformation. The platform will encourage conversation on difficult social topics: ecology and disasters caused by totalitarian regimes and war, gender and equality, reintegration of veterans, unconscious traumas of war, women's resilience, social maturity, etc.. The founder of the project was independent theater producer Kristina Kiselevite. The first project of the platform will be the KЇ FEST festival, which will be held in Kyiv from May 7 to 10.

The platform focuses on projects that will encourage dialogue through theater.

Kristina Kiselevite has extensive experience working with international partners, cultural institutions and festivals. She has worked with the Ivan Franko National Theater, the Maria Zankovetska National Theater, the Lesya Ukrainka National Theater, and was also the director of the Veterans Theater, an independent theater initiative working with veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

" I believe that theater is a space for dialogue, a place where you can be honest and accepted at the same time. In cooperation with theaters and Ukrainian business, we will build an independent institution, where each performance is a way to talk about painful topics. The more we avoid them, the greater the anxiety, misunderstanding and disconnection in society.. But when a person pronounces them in public space, they can be heard, questioned, supplemented by other voices, which as a result transforms personal pain into public experience and general awareness. Tension becomes an opportunity for growth. Our mission is to create a platform for public dialogue in the Ukrainian theater space. We need this space that normalizes our shared experience and integrates it into our lives, making power out of trauma.. We cannot bypass pain, we can only go through it, but this road will lead us to healing,” Kristina Kiselevite, founder of KЇ PLATFORMA and organizer of KЇ FEST.

The first project of the platform is the international theater festival KЇ FEST. The event will last 4 days – from May 7 to May 10, 2026. This year the focus is on a showcase of productions from Ukrainian directors. As part of the festival, existing performances will be adapted, and several productions will be shown for the first time. The area for dialogue will be the opportunity to talk with the creators of the performances after the screenings, as well as during a series of panel discussions.

Look for the schedule and purchase of tickets on the social networks of the KЇ PLATFORMA platform from March 27, and KЇ FEST will close with the world premiere of the play " It will be the final part of the " Thanks to KЇ FEST, the premiere of the play from Opera Aperta will be shown in Ukraine. The public from different parts of the world will share the joint experience: curators, festival directors, theater producers and critics - people who can further form and stimulate joint cooperation between Ukraine and the world.

The project is supported by Ukrainian business.
