FC Phoenix-Mariupol, which started this season at Pershaya Liza, made its way to the quarterfinals of the Ukrainian Cup, supported by two new players - 29-year-old Pavel Orikhovsky and 26-year-old Nazar Gritsak.
Pavlo Orikhovskiy – Vikhovanets of Dynamo Kyiv, de grav in junior and youth teams. Having also stolen the colors of Chornomorets, Kiev Arsenal, Rukh and Kolos (Kovalivka). Having previously joined the youth (U-16, U-17) and youth (U-21) teams of Ukraine.
Nazar Gritsak started his career at a school in Lvov. Having played for amateur and professional clubs, such as Munkac, Kormil, FC Sambir, Blago-Yunist (Ivano-Frankivsk region), Karpaty (Lviv), Agrobusiness (Volochysk), FC Khust and Skala 1911 at Another Lake.
Earlier, just before the winter break, the team was replenished by defenders Oleksandr Chornomorets and Nazar Balaba, seniors Andriy Kukharuk, Valeriy Kucherov, Rostislav Rusin, Oleg Sinitsya, as well as forward Sergey Kislenko.
