The children of the cult Ukrainian performer Stepan Giga - Kvitoslava and Stepan Jr. - for the first time openly spoke about the tragic circumstances of the last months of his life. In an interview with the Naodintsi project, Kvitoslava Giga confirmed rumors that her star father suffered from diabetes for a long time.

“Diabetes played a decisive role and the infection, which, unfortunately, the body could not cope with. We fought for two and a half months, but what happened happened. It's hard to talk and remember. I still can’t believe that we couldn’t overcome this disease.. When dad went to the hospital, we were always with him and talked,” admitted Kvitoslava.
