During a business trip abroad, the Ukrainian presenter of the United News telethon Andrei Kovalsky was involved in a traffic accident. As a result of the incident, the journalist's face was damaged, namely his upper lip, which doctors had to sew up in two places.

As Kovalsky noted, at the time of the accident he was in the back seat of the car, and was injured due to the fact that another passenger hit his head on him. The presenter spoke about this in a commentary for the project “Wound at the Great Place”.
