Brentford Football Club has officially secured one of the Premier League's most exciting strikers.

Brazilian Igor Thiago signed a new five-year contract, which will expire at the Gtech Community Stadium until the summer of 2031. In addition, the club forfeited the option to extend the site for one season.

Thiago, who arrived to Brentford from the Belgian Bruges at the bitter end of 2024, becoming a good sign of the streaming season. In 27 matches in all tournaments, the forward scored 18 goals, becoming the main striking force of Keith Andrews' team.
