As part of the pre-season tour of America, the official leader of the Inter Miami MLS Cup played a friendly match against the Ecuadorian club Barcelona (Guayaquil). The main goal of the team was the incredible goal of the victorious Lionel Messi, who highlighted his goals scored in 2026.

The episode began in the first half, when the Argentinean took the ball far away from the goal. Undeterred by public supervision, Messi made a corporate pass to the penalty area.
