Real Madrid winger Rodrigo Goes will not be able to help his team in the upcoming Champions League matches. The Athletic reports this.

Apparently, the 25-year-old Brazilian took two cards from the match of the eighth round of the main stage of the Champions League against Benfica (2:4), for which he was kicked out of the field before the final whistle.

According to Dzherel, UEFA praised the decision to disqualify Rodrigo for two matches through a statement at the address of the referees.

Thus, Rodrigo will miss two stick matches in the 1/16 finals of the Champions League, where Benfica will again be the opponent of the Vershkovyhs. The matches will take place on February 17th and 25th.

Rodrigo played 26 matches this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
