English Premier League clubs are ready to pay 40-50 million euros for Goffenheim striker Tim Lemperle before the end of the transfer window.
Atletico Madrid also retains interest in the 23-year-old forward, however, there is no chance of implementation due to options.
As journalist Florian Plettenberg reports, the Hoffenheim management team, with sporting director Andreas Schieker, does not see Lemperle's sales. The footballer himself will also be out of the club until the end of the season.
It appears that Lemperle wants to give his friend half of the campaign, or to gain the respect of the head coach of the German national team, Julian Nagelsmann, and help Goffenheim compete for a place in the Champions League.
In the current Bundesliga season, the striker is the team's key player: he has six goals and two assists in 19 matches, which is one of the most important points in the championship.
