Shakhtar Pedrinho's winger may become available for a call to the national team of Ukraine in the near future. As Dzherelo reports, the coaching staff of the national team under the leadership of Serhiy Rebrov became interested in the 27-year-old Brazilian.

Once all the documents are successfully completed, Pedrinho will be able to take part in the 1/2 final match of the playoff qualification until the 2026 emergency against Sweden on 26 February. Moreover, he has 14 matches for the Brazil U-23 national team.

Pedrinho transferred to Shakhtar in 2021 from Benfica for 18 million euros. He played 18 matches for the team, scoring 4 goals and giving 3 assists, before leaving Ukraine through the Russian invasion. After his loan at Atletico Mineiro for 2022–2024, he returned to Shakhtar and signed a new contract until 2029.

This season, Pedrinho played 25 matches in all tournaments, recording 6 goals and 9 assists.

It is significant that previously three Brazilians were naturalized: Edmar, Marlos and Junior Moraes.

The collection of Ukraine at the fall of leaves finished another in the qualification of the ChS-2026 and went to the playoffs. In the final round of 26 February, Rebrov's team will compete with Sweden, and if they win, they will play against the bet winner Poland - Albania.

Once Ukraine passes the playoffs, at the 2026 World Championships, Group F's opponents will be the Netherlands, Tunisia and Japan. The tournament will be held from 11 cher to 19 lin in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
