Cherkasy LNZ played the first control match at the training camp, achieving a minimal victory over the Czech club Dukla - 2:1.

The goals for the Ukrainian club were scored by Gennadiy Pasich (41) and Shota Nonikashvili (45+6), the Czech team shortened the lead in the other half (72).

The match marked the debuts of several newcomers from LNZ: Egor Tverdokhlib, Artur Mykytyshyn, Adama Yakubu, and also the chance to prove themselves was denied to young players - Nazar Smotrytsky, Danilo Yashchenko and Orest Lepsky.

Vitaly Ponomariov’s players controlled the game already in the first half, creating a low number of dangerous moments, and were able to consolidate their advantage even before the break. Having scored a goal for the Czech team in the other half, LNZ took the match to victory.

We guess that LNZ tops the UPL tournament table, with 35 points after 16 matches. The team continues preparations until the next part of the season in Turechchyn.
