On Friday, December 2, the weather will be cloudy in Ukraine. In some places, temperatures down to -14 degrees are expected at night.. Severe weather events are likely in some areas.

This was reported by the Ukrhydrometcenter.. According to weather forecasters, it will snow in parts of Ukraine.

So, in the northern and most western regions light snow is expected, in the rest of the territory there will be no significant precipitation. The roads are icy in places. Southwestern wind, 7-12 m/s, at night in the western regions, during the day in Ukraine gusts of 15-20 m/s in places, in the Carpathians even up to 25 m/s.

The night will be quite frosty, the thermometer will drop to -9. -14. In the west and south of the country the forecast is -3 at night. -8. Much warmer during the day, -2. +3, and in the southern regions and Crimea the air will warm up to +2. +7 degrees.

According to the warning of meteorologists from the Ukrhydrometcenter, strong winds are expected in some regions of Ukraine during the day on January 2. So, in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, mountainous parts of the Transcarpathian and Chernivtsi regions, wind gusts are 15-20 m/s, at night and in the morning in places 25 m/s.

In these regions, danger level 1, yellow, has been declared.

Meteorologists warn that such weather conditions could complicate the work of energy, construction and utility companies.
