The Verkhovna Rada proposes to resign the Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovoy. This draft resolution No. 14286 appeared on the Verkhovna Rada website on December 9.
As of the morning of December 11, there is still no text of the document. The authors of the draft resolution were non-factional deputies Anton Yatsenko and Dmitry Mikisha, as well as Larisa Bilozir from the group “For Maybutne”.
During the last plenary week, it was Yatsenko who announced the initiation of the resolution to dismiss Lisovoy from the podium. They say that the current head of the Ministry of Education “took a completely anti-people position” and “deliberately does not cancel the criminal order to merge the Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavel Tychyna and the Uman National University”.

Let us remind you that before the resignation of Denis Shmygal from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine and, accordingly, the resignation of his government, it was reported that Oksen Lisova would probably also be left without the post of head of the Ministry of Education and Science. However, at that time, assumptions regarding the successor varied. ZN sources. UA reported that the department was proposed to be transferred under the leadership of the first deputy minister and head of the Servant of the People faction in the Kyiv City Council Andrey Vitrenko.
On July 17, the Verkhovna Rada approved the composition of the government of Yulia Sviridenko in a package. But despite the forecasts, Oksen Lisova remained the Minister of Education and Science in the new Cabinet.
