Metinvest Group has allocated UAH 5.2 billion to support the Ukrainian Defense Forces since the beginning of the full-scale war. Assistance is provided free of charge within the framework of the militaristic initiative " The company's total contribution to state support amounted to UAH 9.72 billion.

That is why, in times of war, the company is focused on its key mission: supporting the national economy and strengthening the defense capabilities of the state,” says group CEO Yuriy Ryzhenkov.

Metinvest steel became an element of defense already in the first days of the war: the company launched the production of mobile shelters made of corrugated steel. Since the beginning of the invasion, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received 805 of these structures, as well as new command posts and underground hospitals.

This year, the construction of the second medical station of the NATO Role 2 hospital was completed, for which more than 21 million UAH were allocated. Meanwhile, the first underground hospital has already helped save more than 6,000 military personnel. Metinvest also built Ukraine's first underground training hub and civilian steel bunker "

Separately, the company is implementing a number of projects aimed at protecting equipment: it has already donated 300 metal shields for military equipment, including Abrams and Bradley, and a three-ton shell for the Patriot complex.. In addition, soldiers receive “Lancet catchers”, mine trawls, mobile bugs, mini-bastions, body armor and other military products.

Together with the military, Metinvest is building defense lines: more than 200 km of fortifications have been built in the Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions.
