As a result of the combined attack of the Russian Federation on the capital on the night of November 29, the house of Ukrainian artist Bogdan Polishchuk in Kyiv was seriously damaged.. During the air raid, the family managed to go down to the cellar, so no one was hurt.
According to the Les Kurbas Theater, with which the artist collaborates, all the windows in the house were broken, part of the roof was destroyed and extensive damage was recorded inside. The source notes that the house suffered from a shock wave as a result of the arrival of “Shahed” in the neighboring room, of which virtually nothing remained.
The theater noted that Bogdan Polishchuk created the visual world for the productions “The Forest Song”, “Zakhar Berkut” and “Grateful Erodij”. Living with him in the house are his wife Elena, children Yarema and Ustim, as well as Elena’s parents.
“Fortunately, the family managed to go down to the cellar and remained unharmed.. No injuries, fire was avoided. But to survive does not mean not to suffer,” the message says..
A person close to Bogdan Polishchuk, Yulia Polishchuk, also published a photo of the consequences and thanked everyone who is helping the family recover from the blow. She added that repairs are urgently needed, because winter is ahead, and the house in its current state is uninhabitable.
Let us recall that during a massive night attack on November 29, the Russian Federation used about 36 missiles and almost 600 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized most of the air targets, but debris and part of the UAV caused damage in different areas of the capital. According to the Kyiv city administration, two people were killed and dozens were injured..
Among the victims of the night attack was actress Anna Koshmal, whose house was hit by gunfire after an explosion in a neighboring entrance. There was a fire in one of the rooms, similar to her apartment.. The artist said that her family was not injured, although the children were very scared.
